Joe Rogan Made Unfortunate Mistake During UFC 313 Broadcast
Popular UFC broadcaster and podcast host Joe Rogan made an unfortunate mistake during the sport's latest broadcast over the weekend.
Rogan was on the call of UFC 313 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night. He was calling the fights alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.
The "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast host made an unfortunate mistake while previewing the strawweight matchup between Amanda Lemos and Iasmin Lucindo, two female fighters. Rogan unfortunately referred to one of the fighters as a "young man."
Rogan's mistake immediately went viral on social media.
Rogan made a tough mistake when referring to Lucindo's gender, calling the female fighter a "young man" with “tremendous potential.”
“Amanda Lemos is very dangerous. Very dangerous. But this young man has tremendous potential,” said Rogan of Lucindo.

The mistake appeared to be a genuine one from Rogan, as it's rare for him to slip up like this. The longtime UFC analyst and podcast host has been covering the sport for decades.
Still, it was a tough spot for Rogan, as he had been covering male-on-male fights all night long. Perhaps he just got stumbled up after a night of mostly male fights.
It ended up being a tough night for Luncindo, too. The rising UFC star lost in a unanimous decision to Lemos.

Lucindo had carried a four-fight winning streak heading into Saturday night's bout, though now she'll have to look to get back on the winning side, following the loss at UFC 313 in Las Vegas.
