The state government will propose the construction of a tunnel from Gundya to Sakleshpur on National Highway 75 to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. This initiative aims to address safety concerns and frequent accidents in the hilly ghat section of the highway connecting Mangaluru and Bengaluru, improving travel conditions significantly.
