A MARRIED At First Sight bride who sparked shock with her fiery relationship with a controversial groom has gone Instagram official with her new man.
The E4 star, who featured in the 2024 instalment and often locked horns with her spouse due to their struggles in communication styles, has revealed her happy chapter on social media.
It came just weeks after Holly Ditchfield, 29, teased her relationship with Dating Naked UK hunk Mike Durrant.
The pair were seen walking hand-in-hand after they put on a smitten display in Manchester yet now the proud parent-of-two has confirmed her separate romance in a cosy snap.
Holly – who was married to Alex Henry, 28, in her Married At First Sight journey – can be seen enjoying a cuddle with a mystery man in an image accompanied by three Emoji icons.
She looked stylish in a white crop top and matching shorts as he gave her a cuddle from behind.
Her guy donned a baseball cap and gave a sweet smile as she flashed a peace sign to the camera.
In another image uploaded to Instagram Stories, Holly can be seen holding his tattooed hand as the pair headed for dinner.
She wrote in her sweet caption: “My happy place,” followed by a white Emoji love heart.
The Sun has gone to Holly’s reps for comment.
Holly’s happiness comes after she patched things up with Hannah Norburn during MAFS’ recent explosive reunion.
She apologised for her vile conduct towards the Manchester lass – who was in tears – for her unkind comments in a previous episode, and the pair then put their long-running feud to bed.
HOLLY’S EX-HUSBAND
While on the dating show last year, Holly married Alex Henry, with the couple having a fiery relationship to say the least.
After leaving the reality series after a spat in the commitment ceremony couch, Alex took to Instagram to write: “Unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be.
“A lot of people wanted me and Holly to last the test of time, at times I wish we could have too. We shared some great memories together on and off camera.
“I wish Holly nothing but the best in the future, she deserves it! Speak to you all real soon! Love.”
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
Meanwhile, Holly shared a similar message, which read: “Just a quick message to all the lovely people who have supported my MAFS journey:
“MAFS taught me so much about myself things that I never knew I was capable of doing I accomplished.
“I am proud of me. Thank you to my amazing MAFS family! My family!
“My friends and all the lovely people I have met along the way. Over and out.”
