Tamra Judge Speaks Out After Seemingly Quitting 'Real Housewives of Orange County'
Tamra Judge is opening up about her decision to quit The Real Housewives of Orange County.
On Sunday (March 9), Tamra, 57, abruptly announced that she was seemingly quitting the Bravo series shortly after filming for season 19 began.
During the Wednesday (March 12) episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, Tamra admitted that she’s been struggling lately with some “personal things.”

“I went into the season not knowing, not sure, very anxious and just dealing with some stuff through therapy, and you know that really breaks you down to your lowest point,” Tamra explained. “I’m like, ‘Should I just quit? Because it’s just I feel like it’s breaking me down.’”
She went on to say that these personal problems ultimately became too much for her to handle after she realized she couldn’t get “out of the funk.”
“When I get like this, my body just shuts down, It just completely shuts down,” Tamra said. “And I can just sit in one place and just stare at the wall for hours. And that’s how I feel and it’s really hard to film like that when you feel like that.”
While she didn’t go into detail about what’s caused these struggles, she did acknowledge that co-host and close friend Teddi Mellencamp‘s health issues have been weighing heavily on her.
Last month, Teddi, 43, underwent surgery to have tumors removed from her brain and doctors recently found more tumors on her brain and lungs.
“Teddi gave me a pep talk and that is like the first time I’ve laughed in so long,” Tamra shared. “Like, we laughed, and she just yelled at me and said, ‘Listen to me, I have to be bald and fat right now and going through this. You get your ass back over there.’”
“I just started laughing. So I think I’m going to see her today,” she added. “I think that’s gonna pull little bit of spark back into me.”
