Tottenham midfielder Jamie Donley is continuing to win admirers with his displays out on loan, and he is now reportedly giving serious thought to changing his national allegiances.
Jamie Donley is thought of very highly by the coaches at Hotspur Way, which is why not many at Tottenham would be surprised by how well the attacking midfielder has done on loan at Leyton Orient.
The 20-year-old has been dominating League One over the past few months, proving the O’s main creative force in the number ten role, having 11 goal contributions to his name so far this season.
The youngster might have his sights set on challenging for a first-team spot at Tottenham Hotspur next season, but it has now emerged that he is also giving serious thought to breaking into senior international football by making a big move.

Donley has represented England at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels, but he is also eligible to play for Northern Ireland.
According to John Wenham, who regularly breaks news on Tottenham’s youth players on his social media platform, Lilywhite Rose, the midfielder is now considering changing his international allegiance to Northern Ireland.
Wenham reveals that Norther Ireland’s manager Michael O’Neill has been impressed with the Spurs academy graduate’s displays at Brisbane Road this season, and a door could thus open for the youngster to be fast-tracked into international football.

Tough decision for Donley early in his Spurs career
This is a hard decision for Donley to make at this stage of his career. The midfielder evidently has a high ceiling and might have dreams of breaking into the senior England squad in a few years.
However, he would also be tempted to get a taste of what it is like to play at the international level as soon as possible, with Northern Ireland potentially ready to offer the Spurs man such an opportunity.
