Jonathan Majors Makes Disturbing Admission in Unearthed Audio Clip
Jonathan Majors said he was "ashamed" that he strangled his ex-girlfriend, according to newly unearthed audio obtained by Rolling Stone.
The magazine published the audio on Monday. In it, Majors and his ex, Grace Jabbari, are heard discussing the incident days after the attack. She reportedly confronted Majors about the fight that led to the Creed III allegedly becoming angry in September 2022, and slamming her into a car before dragging her back inside their London home and strangling her.
"I'm ashamed I've ever ..." Majors says before trailing off. "I've never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I've never aggressed a woman -- I aggressed you."
Jabbari then chimed in, "You strangled me and pushed me against the car," to which Majors responded with, "Yes, all those things are under 'aggressed,' yeah. That's never happened to me."
"Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes," Jabbari continued.

"Well clearly, it's more than that," Majors responded, to which Jabbari replied with, "Something inside of you."

The audio's existence and publication comes more than a year after Majors was found guilty on one count of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree. He was acquitted on the two more serious charges of intentional assault and aggravated harassment. Majors had faced up to one year in jail, but the judge spared him any time behind bars. He instead was sentenced to one year of domestic violence counseling in Los Angeles. He must also continue to see his mental health counselor and stay away from Jabbari.

The trial stemmed from a March 2023 arrest after authorities alleged Majors "struck, shoved, kicked and otherwise subjected another person to physical contact thereby causing physical injury to such person," following an argument that turned physical in New York City.
At Majors' sentencing, Jabbari slammed the actor for not apologizing for his actions.
“He is not sorry, he has not accepted responsibility and he will do this again,” Jabbari told the court.
Observing the proceedings from the front row was Majors’ current girlfriend, actress Meagan Good.
“He will hurt other women," Jabbari continued. "This is a man who believes he is above the law.”
Jabbari also filed a civil lawsuit against Majors. The sides agreed to a settlement in November.
