Schenectady County declares Code Blue for Monday night
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Schenectady County officials declared a Code Blue for the area on Monday due to forecasted inclement temperatures. The Code Blue will be in place through through Tuesday, March 18 at 7 a.m.
Homeless shelters in the county will have extended hours while the Code Blue is in effect. All Schenectady County Public Library branches will also be available as warming centers during regular library hours. Anyone in need of emergency sheltering can contact the following facilities:
