STARFIGHTER (8.30 Wolverhampton, nap)
Can zoom to another success for father and son. Mark Loughnane doesn’t get to book his high-flying son Billy much these days but when he does it can often pay to follow. This veteran is a course regular and has won on two of his last four visits. He was only just edged out last time and despite creeping up the weights looks set to run another big race from a midfield draw.
BOIS GUILLBERT (2.30 Wetherby, nb)
Looks miles ahead of the handicapper after his win over fences at Newcastle. He only had three to beat there but trounced his rivals and this step up in trip should help bring out more again. Lucinda Russell has her team in great nick and is a brilliant trainer at bringing these handicappers through the ranks.
UNDER CURFEW (5.25 Wolverhampton, treble)
Has Rossa Ryan back in the saddle and that counts for a lot in these weak races on the all-weather. He has a great strike rate for trainer Tony Carroll. He has the plum draw and likes this tight track.
SEA INVASION (5.02 Exeter, Lucky 15)
The switch to this small field will work wonders as will the drying ground and drop back down in trip.
