Paul Rudd Cryptically Addresses Ant-Man's 'Avengers' Future

As the anticipation builds for two upcoming Avengers films, the questions surrounding the cast and storylines will only grow. Avengers: Doomsday has a release date of May 1, 2026, so fans will have plenty of time to toss around theories about the film.

If the one-plus year wait for Doomsday's release wasn't quite long enough, fans will have to wait another year to get answers on any cliffhangers from that film. Avengers: Secret Wars has a release date of May 7, 2027.

The current question marks plaguing fans include casting of some specific roles for the two films, but also curiosity over whether some characters will be back. This includes Ant-Man, played by Paul Rudd, who was asked about the topic by Collider during an interview for his upcoming film, Death of a Unicorn.

As fans have become accustomed to, actors linked to a Marvel series have typically done an excellent job remaining tight-lipped about the films. For Rudd, he did his best to avoid giving anything away about Ant-Man's possible future in the upcoming films.

"As far as the Russo's, um, you know what, they have my number, they know where I'm at. That's all I can really [say] ..." Rudd said while laughing about his cryptic response.

After essentially pointing to the fact that he's not going to give anything away, the question was asked of whether Rudd will be "traveling to London anytime soon" (the movie is set to be filmed in the UK).

Rudd's response to that was even more impressive:

"Isn't everyone traveling to London soon now in this business?" Rudd joked.

Rudd's Death of a Unicorn co-star and Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega then praised the actor for keeping it all under wraps by stating, "God, he's good."
