The PIL has sought an investigation by CBI and SIT into the alleged fraud brank guarantees furnished by Megha Engineering Infrastructure Ltd. (MEIL) which has been accepted by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and sought direction to MMRDA to cancel the contract awarded to MEIL.
