'School Spirits' Renewed For Season 3 On Paramount+!

Paramount+ has made a decision on the supernatural series School Spirits!

Starring Peyton List and Milo Manheim, the show has been picked up for a third season on the streaming service, JustJared.com can confirm.

The news comes after a very successful second season, which premiered at the end of January and wrapped up earlier this month.

Season two of School Spirits drew an average of 3.9 million viewers in the first 28 days, a double-digit increase of +94% from the show’s first season.

In season two, Maddie Nears (List) is still stuck in the afterlife with the knowledge of what happened to her, and must unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds in order to reclaim her stolen life.

“We are so thrilled to bring School Spirits back to our devoted audiences for another season of masterful storytelling brought to life by Peyton List and the incredible cast,” Shauna Phelan, Head of Live Action Scripted Series and Film for Awesomeness and Nickelodeon, shared in a statement. “Co-showrunners Oliver Goldstick, Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud have an exceptional ability to capture the complexity and nuance of the teen experience, while also keeping audiences on their toes with the unexpected mystery, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the students of Split River High next season.”

The series is based on the forthcoming graphic novel by Nate Trinrud & Megan Trinrud, which is expected to be released in September.

School Spirits also stars Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell and Josh Zuckerman.

Four new actors joined the cast in season two!

Season three will release in 2026.
