Beloved ‘Boy Meet’s World’ Actor William Daniels Turns 98: PHOTO
William Daniels, best known for his role as Mr. Feeny on Boy Meets World, celebrated his 98th birthday on March 31.
In an interview with People magazine, Daniels said that he was looking forward to "peace and quiet" on his special day. Meanwhile, his wife of 73 years, Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, told the outlet that each passing year is "special."
"That's the thing. This seems to be very special that a couple who both are actors live so long and together for so long, it seems to be unique," she said. "I'm sure there are lots of couples out there on farms or businesses, other things. Doctors don't live that long, but a married couple that are actors living that long? That's special."
Emmy-nominated television host Jeff Conway visited with Daniels and shared a photo of the actor with his birthday cake.
"This weekend, I visited my dear friend @mrbilldaniels and his lovely wife Bonnie, bringing him a birthday cake to make a wish and to continue celebrating his extraordinary life," Conway captioned the post.
"Bill was in such happy spirits during my visit and we talked about him still exercising twice a week, his love for chocolate and how he feels healthy & well at 98 years young," he added.
The Daily Mail also shared some recent photos of Daniels, who is still very recognizable despite his advanced age. In the snaps, Daniels and his wife, 95, were at Art's Deli in Studio City, CA. Both appeared healthy, though Daniels was helped along by another gentleman, who may have been a bodyguard.
