CORINTH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Corinth woman was arrested for nine counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals as well as failure to provide proper sustenance, per the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. The SCSO said it received an animal complaint in Corinth on March 24, sparking an investigation which then led to the arrest of Tamara DeStanko, 57.
DeStanko is accused of failing to provide adequate care to seven horses, a goat, and a pig. She surrendered the horses to Equine Rescue Resource of Pine Bush and the pig and goat were turned over to other volunteers.
