M/I Homes to build new Jerome Village neighborhood in Dublin school district

PLAIN CITY, Ohio (WCMH) -- Jerome Village will soon be home to another single-family neighborhood constructed by central Ohio's largest homebuilder.

Named "Applewood," the new neighborhood will include 137 single-family homes built by M/I Homes off Jerome Road and Hill Road. While the Jerome Village community is located in Plain City, Applewood will sit within the Dublin City School District and assign residents to Dublin Jerome High School, Eversole Run Middle School and Abraham Depp Elementary School.

"The demand for quality housing in top-rated school districts remains strong," said David Balzerzak, M/I's vice president of sales and marketing. "With Dublin's schools consistently ranked among the best in the state, families are looking for opportunities to establish long-term roots here."

Applewood homebuyers will choose from floorplans within M/I's "Signature Collection," with pricing starting in the mid $500,000s for three-to-six bedroom homes ranging from 2,514 square feet to 3,745 square feet. Residents will enjoy access to Jerome Village's members-only community center, which includes a pool, fitness center, restaurant and bar.

M/I said the Applewood model home will be unveiled in June, showcasing one of the collection's floorplans. Until then, the homebuilder is encouraging prospective residents to visit the model home at Pearl Creek, another single-family neighborhood constructed by M/I within Jerome Village.

Spanning more than 2,000 acres, Jerome Village features more than two dozen neighborhoods constructed by 17 homebuilders. The community is also the site of a new Kroger marketplace at 12116 Sycamore Trace, which opened last November and was boasted as the brand's first new central Ohio store in 15 years.
