'Emily in Paris' Season 5 Release Timeframe: Clues for When It Might Debut!
Fans are anxiously awaiting news about Emily in Paris season five, and we’re playing detective to try and figure out when we might get a glimpse of the new season.
By taking a look at past production schedules, it seems we could have things narrowed down!
Seasons 2 and 3 seemed to follow similar production schedules, with filming happening over the summer, THR reports, and – at least for season 3 – wrapping in September. Release dates for seasons 2 and 3 came in late December of those same years.
Season 4 followed a different schedule – rumored in part due to the Paris Olympics taking place in the summer of 2024. Season 4 filmed in January 2024 and wrapped filming in May 2024. Season 4 then debuted in two parts: first in August 2024 and the next episodes in September 2024.
Despite different months for filming, it seems that each season of the Lily Collins-starrer was released roughly three months after filming ended.
So, how might this apply for season 5!?

Variety is reporting that season 5 of Emily in Paris has a production start date of the first week in May, 2025.
If we’re using the same formula, we can infer that Emily in Paris might take 3-4 months to film, which is similar to seasons 2, 3, and 4. That would put us at an August/September 2025 wrap date.
If Netflix undergoes a similar production schedule as past seasons, and chooses a similar release timeframe, we’re looking at November/December 2025 release date.
While none of these projected dates have been officially confirmed by Netflix, they did say the season would be released in 2025. This is just our best guess based on what we know about past seasons of the hit series.
And if you were worried one star was exiting the series, you’re in luck!
