Man critically wounded in Rogers Park shooting
An argument apparently sparked a shooting that left a 51-year-old man wounded inside a Rogers Park building early Monday.
The 51-year-old was arguing with someone he knew inside the building in the 6700 block of North Sheridan Avenue around 12:40 a.m. when he was shot in the back, Chicago police said. A witness heard a "loud noise" and found the man shot.
He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston where he was in critical condition, officials said.
No one was in custody.
Area 3 detectives are investigating.
