Craig Finn, singer of The Hold Steady, coming to Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- Singer Craig Finn of indie rock band The Hold Steady is coming to Buffalo.

Following the release of his new solo album "Always Been," Finn will be performing at Asbury Hall on Oct. 21. He will be accompanied by his new group of backing musicians, The Band of Forgiveness.

Finn is no stranger to the Western New York area. He's performed in Buffalo with The Hold Steady several times before, including a standout show at the Mohawk Place in 2006 and a headlining show at Canalside in 2013. The group's 2006 album "Boys and Girls in America" is considered one of the most acclaimed indie rock albums of the mid-2000s.
