Bill Belichick's girlfriend Jordon Hudson has been the source of controversy in his career as of late. Now, The New York Times is alleging that she may have gotten in the way of one of his major projects.
According to the media outlet, NFL Films wanted to cover Belichick's first season coaching the University of North Carolina Carolina's football team for its sports docuseries, Hard Knocks. It was set to air on HBO, but Hudson's last-minute demands squelched the project.
She reportedly asked for "content approval and partial ownership of the show," per The New York Times source. NFL Films would not agree to those terms, so they "pulled the plug."

On LinkedIn, Hudson has listed her job titles tied to her boyfriend, including chief operating officer of Belichick Productions as well as chief executive officer of Trouble Cub Enterprises — and she's already caught some heat for being out on the football field.
A viral video from April 12 showed the 24-year-old making her way back and forth from the sidelines to assist Belichick. Hudson repeatedly made hand gestures to an audio technician while she helped mic up her boyfriend. NBC Sports revealed the bad blood that was already stewing between Hudson and NFL Films, but fans are now curious as to who is filming the documentary after the HBO fallout.
"We’re told that some owners aren’t thrilled with the decision to feature Belichick on an NFL-owned platform," Mike Florio reported for ProFootballTalkin early March. "Beyond the specific bridges Belichick has obliterated and the more general attacks on pro football as spearheaded by his consigliere, Mike Lombardi, Belichick is inching toward persona non grata territory as far as some NFL owners are concerned."
NBC Sports confirmed that UNC isn't paying for the production or Hudson because "there would be a public record of it," but the mystery about the docuseries continues.
