IPL 2025 Prize distribution: RCB won the Tournament, Sai Sudarshan holds majority of Awards, Vaibhav Suryavanshi also in the list
Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Punjab Kings by 6 runs and claimed their first Indian Premier League title. This was a close encounter match that went till the last ball of the game. Apart from RCB being handed the trophy, a lot of awards were also distributed, let’s take a look at them.
RCB- Won the trophy:
Royal Challengers Bengaluru claimed the title of the tournament, and got Rs. 20 crore as the prize money for being the tournament winning team.
Punjab Kings- Runners-up:
Punjab Kings finished as runners-up and the team was awarded Rs. 12.50 crore for securing the position.
Sai Sudarshan- Orange Cap winner:
Sar Sudarshan was the leading run scorer in the tournament, and was awarded with Rs. 10 lakh for holding the top position in the Orange Cap standings.
Prasidh Krishna- Purple Cap winner:
Prasidh Krishna was the leading wicket-taker in the tournament, and was awarded Rs. 10 lakh as well for holding the top position in Purple Cap standings.
Sai Sudarshan- Emerging Player of the Year:
Sai Sudarshan also secured the Emerging Player of the Year to his name. He was awarded with Rs. 10 lakh and a trophy.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi- Super-Striker of the Year:
Rajasthan Royals’ youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi won the Super-Striker of the year award. The 14-year-old sensation was awarded Rs. 10 lakh and a Tata Curvv car.
Sai Sudarshan- Super-4 of the Season:
Sai Sudarshan was the leading 4-hitter this season. With 88 fours to his name in the IPL 2025, he was awarded the Super-4 of the season and a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh.
Nicholas Pooran- Super-Six of the Season:
Lucknow Supergiants batter Nicholas Pooran won the Super-Six of the season. He hit 40 sixes this season, and was given a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh.
Mohammed Siraj- Green dot-ball of the season:
Mohammed Siraj won the Green dot-ball of the season award. He bowled 195 dot-balls in the IPL 2025, and was given a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh.
Kamindu Mendis- Catch of the Season:
Kamindu Mendis won the Catch of the Season award. He was given a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh and a trophy.
Suryakumar Yadav- Most valuable Player of the Season:
Suryakumar Yadav won the Most valuable Player of the Season award. Suryakumar was also given a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh.
Sai Sudarshan- Fantasy King of the Season:
Sai Sudarshan won the Fantasy King of the year award. He was given a prize money of Rs. 10 lakh and a trophy as well.
Chennai Super Kings- Fair-Play award:
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were given the Fair-Play award.
