Following the collapse of an old bridge over the Indrayani river in Pune, which resulted in four deaths, former minister Ravindra Chavan is demanding an investigation into why a sanctioned replacement bridge was not constructed. Chavan sanctioned Rs 8 crore for the new bridge in October 2024 when he was PWD minister.
