Brad Pitt has been sporting a buzz cut for his F1 the Movie press tour, and now we know why.

The new hair cut actually brought back nostalgia vibes for some. Brad previously debuted a buzz cut back in 2004 for his movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith and it is one of his most iconic looks throughout the years.

Now, he explained why he cut off his longer locks.

“I just finished a job,” he told People when asked about shaving his head again. “It’s for a character we did.” He didn’t elaborate further, and he does have several movies in the works on his IMDb page.

However, only one is labeled in “post-production” and that is Heart of the Beast. According to Deadline, the film “centers on a former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog who battle for survival after a plane crash deep in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness.”
