A Mumbai consumer commission ruled that SpiceJet must compensate a senior citizen Rs 25,000 after issuing incorrect tickets during a rerouted journey in 2020. The commission found the airline guilty of deficient service and negligent behavior, causing the passenger mental and financial distress when a connecting flight was scheduled before his arrival.
