Saratoga Springs man arrested on sexual assault charges
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Saratoga Springs man in connection to a sexual assault investigation. Samson Bhatti, 28, faces multiple charges.
Bhatti is accused of restraining a woman and subjecting her to sex through means of physical force at a residence in Clifton Park on August 26. Deputies took him into custody on August 27, resulting in him being charged with first-degree rape, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
Bhatti was arraigned in front of Judge Robert Rybak at Clifton Park Town Court before being held at the Saratoga County Jail on a $10,000 cash bail, or secured and partially secured bonds of $20,000 and $100,000 respectively.
