Albany man arrested for allegedly stealing two vehicles
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An 18-year-old Albany man was arrested in connection with two vehicle theft investigations. Keyariyon Rucker faces two counts of third-degree grand larceny.
The Albany Police Department said a vehicle was stolen on Lenox Avenue near Berkshire Boulevard on August 12 before being found on Central Avenue and returned to the victim. The second incident happened on Monday just after midnight on Brevator Street when police said this victim saw three juveniles enter his vehicle and drive away after he parked. His vehicle was found on Bleeker Terrace and returned, per police.
Detectives found that Rucker was responsible for stealing both vehicles and was taken into custody on Wednesday morning near Second Street and Judson Street. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and placed in the Albany County Jail with bail set at $10,000.
