SICK: Far-Left Virginia Democrat AG Nominee Fantasized About Killing Prominent GOP State Politician in Shocking Text Messages

The radical left’s violent fantasies are so pronounced that they may have a potential impact on a critical race in November.

On Friday, National Review broke an explosive story that revealed Jay Jones, the Democratic nominee for Virginia attorney general, sent a shocking series of early-morning text messages back on August 8, 2022.

Jones was furious over how state politicians were mourning the death of former state legislator Joe Johnson Jr, a longtime centrist Democrat. Republican politicians such as House Speaker Todd Gilbert made classy statements honoring Johnson, and some of those statements were shared in state legislative group chats.

Jones, who had recently resigned from the state House, later texted his outrage over the eulogies to his former colleague, Republican House Delegate Carrie Coyner. National Review obtained the text messages.

In the first message, Jones slammed Johnson for being too ‘moderate’ and mocked the “glowing” tributes made by Republicans.

Jones wrote: “If those guys die before me, I will go to their funerals to piss on their graves” to “send them out awash in something.”

Jones then said in a hypothetical situation, he would kill then-Speaker of the House Todd Gilbert instead of murderous tyrants Adolf Hitler and Pol Pot. This prompted Coyner to plead with him to stop.

It isn’t ok

No matter who they are

But it gets even worse. National Review notes Jones doubled down after calling Coyner, claiming that politicians “must feel pain themselves,” like the agony that parents feel when they watch their children get killed.

Jones also said he wished Gilbert’s wife could watch her own child die in her arms so that Gilbert might move to the left politically. Infuriated by his wretched remark, Coyner hung up the phone.

After the National Review Story was published, Jones accused his GOP opponent, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, of running a “smear campaign through Trump-controlled media organizations.” At the same time, he unconvincingly expressed regret for the text exchange.

Jones currently holds a narrow lead in his race to become the Commonwealth’s next attorney general. One can only hope this new revelation will help wake voters up.
