Cooler weather is on the way throughout this week
What We’re Tracking
- Drying out
- Another cold front
- Late week rain chance
Cooler air has pushed into the area this morning. Winds are gusting near 30 mph at times from the northwest. These gusty northwest winds are helping to keep us chilly as many of us will wake up in the mid to upper 40s.
Clouds will start to break apart throughout the day, giving us a mostly clear sky. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 60s, and winds will taper off to around 10 mph. Throughout tonight the gusty winds return with wind speeds close to 15-20 mph giving us warmer air out of the south heading into Monday.
Another cold front moves through Monday dropping temperatures back down into the middle to upper 60s to lower 70s through most of the week. Our next system arrives late Thursday, bringing the next chance for rain and another cool down by Friday.
