Winter Duathlon Series – Round 2
Round Two Report and Results
Another great day of racing was enjoyed by our 15 members who were joined by 10 guests for this mornings duathlon at Betteshanger, where the weather was surprisingly very good and this can be seen by the fabulous times achieved.
Congratulations to Stuart Gibson who was once again our overall winner in a time of 00:50:07 and the first lady home also again was Louise Moore in 01:02:16. Well done to our guest winners Alistair Clifford again in a hard fought battle with Stuart to finish in 00:50:30 and Faye Roberts from Plucky Triers in 00:54:59
However, the star of the show this morning was Plucky Triers Melinda Downes who came along to give the duathlon a test ride, and judging from her big smile at the end it is safe to say she enjoyed herself!
Round 2 Fun Fact: 6 members and 4 guests beat their round 1 times so well done to you all
Thank you to our wonderful guests for supporting our duathlons and it was great to welcome a new guest Mike Wheeler who was in our area visiting a friend
