Alix Earle's Stepmom Ashley Dupré Apologizes to Cheryl Burke Following 'Ozempic' Dig

Alix Earle‘s stepmom Ashley Dupré is apologizing to Cheryl Burke.

Earlier this week, the 41-year-old retired dancer appeared as a guest judge on Dancing with the Stars. After giving Alix, 24, a lower score than the rest of the judges, Ashley, 40, took a dig at Cheryl‘s appearance and said, “Oh, go take more Ozempic.”

In a new TikTok posted on Friday (October 31), Ashley apologized for her comments.

Keep reading to find out more…“I just wanted to jump on here and apologize for making comments that were insensitive in the heat of the competition,” Ashley shared.

“My step-motherly instincts got the better of me,” she continued. “Never ever do I want to make another person feel bad. In fact, I try to do the opposite and I always try to pick others up. If you follow me, you know that about me, I hope. And that’s how we raised our children.”

She added, “I’m sorry that my actions did not reflect that. I hope everyone has a great Halloween.”

Ashley‘s apology comes after Cheryl responded and called out “body-shamers.”
