Last week, the Fire valiantly fought back from 2-0 down to tie the match at the end. Of course, MLS being MLS, a draw was not sufficient so the match went to, um, penalties. No 30 minutes of extra time, no "golden goal" extra time. Nope, straight to stupid penalties.
Of course the Fire lost on penalties by sending two central defenders to take penalties (both missed) instead of attacking players. Hey, where was "mighty" Tom Barlow? Isn't he supposed to be a striker? I would imagine...
