Emptying ground (24 replies)

genuine question, not a who’s a better fan than who statement but genuinely curious as to why the ground empties so much, notably before half time and well before full time - especially last night when we played so well (understand it a bit more if to show displeasure)

just thought it must’ve looked a bit crap for the players at the end when the home stands seemed less than half full

maybe it’s just a thing that happens up and down the country at all matches, not sure

just curious as to why people would fork out for a match ticket and then not watch the whole thing, goals especially can be scored any time!

(also i know the weather played a part for those in the lower blocks last night, but it’s not always raining - plus large swathes of the Upper Kop emptied too so they can’t blame the weather!!)
