Fort Edward tavern to close after 2 years in business
FORT EDWARD, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An eatery in Fort Edward will soon be closing its doors. Dalia's on the Hudson, located at 13 East Street, will mark its final day on November 15.
Dalia's on the Hudson first opened in May 2023. The restaurant sold a variety of dishes, including soups and stews, sandwiches, pasta and burgers, as well as a seasonal cocktail menu.
In a Facebook announcement posted on Sunday, the business cited "multiple determining factors" as cause for its closure. The owners, Edwin and Amber, said they hope to either reopen Dalia's on the Hudson or begin another entrepreneurial adventure sometime in the future, if they can.
"It has become impossible for us to keep the business going," Edwin and Amber said in the post. "We are incredibly grateful for your support throughout the years, and we want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly."
Dalia's on the Hudson will run on normal hours until its final day on the 15th. They are open from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and from 5 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
