350th martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur: Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, is revered for his sacrifice protecting religious freedom. He is known as Hind di Chadar, the Shield of India. Guru Tegh Bahadur bravely resisted oppression and upheld everyone's right to practice their faith. His martyrdom in 1621 protected people of all faiths from forced conversions.
