Dhanbad district administration has significantly enhanced security measures at popular tourist and picnic spots like Maithon Dam and Topchanchi Lake for New Year's Eve. Over 100 additional police personnel, including divers and women officers, will be deployed to ensure visitor safety and prevent untoward incidents. Drink-and-drive checks have also been intensified across the district.
