Former 'Bachelor' Star Jade Roper Tolbert Shares Emotional Story Behind AI-Generated Family Photo

The Bachelor alum Jade Roper Tolbert experienced an unexpected and emotional moment after requesting an AI-generated Christmas photo of her family from ChatGPT.

The 39-year-old reality star shared a series of Instagram Stories detailing her reaction to discovering a mysterious “bonus face” that appeared in the image, according to People. Jade had asked for a family portrait inspired by the classic Norman Rockwell holiday paintings, but noticed an extra child included in the final result.

Jade believes the additional boy may represent her late son, Beau, whom she and her husband, Tanner Tolbert, lost during a miscarriage in 2023.

“Did the Norman Rockwell holiday trend and an extra boy was in our image and it touched my heart, because of course Beau would want to make the family photo,” she wrote.

Jade later asked ChatGPT to correct the image, and while the extra child was removed, she admitted the updated photo felt “empty” without him.

The Bachelor in Paradise star and Tanner share three children: Emerson, 8, Brooks, 6, and Reed, 5.

In August 2023, Jade revealed on Instagram that she had suffered a miscarriage, opening up about the profound grief the family experienced.

“While our hearts our completely broken and we have been dealing with the deep and complex grief of the loss, we have been blessed to be touched by his soul for his short amount of time. I am forever changed,” she shared at the time.
