Trump's Post About Fallen 'Eagles' Embarrassingly Features A Totally Different Bird
President Donald Trump on Tuesday made a fowl suggestion in a post to his social media platform as he claimed that windmills “are killing all of our beautiful Bald Eagles” alongside a picture of a dead bird beneath a wind turbine.
But the photo depicts a falcon killed by a wind turbine in Israel, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, which published the image in 2017.
The wind turbine in the picture, seemingly a screenshot from Google Images, clearly features writing in Hebrew.
The president’s embarrassing suggestion on Truth Social arrived in a seriesofposts that renewed his war on renewable energy.
Over the years, Trump has falsely claimed that windmills cause cancer, referring to them as “big, ugly suckers” and simply declaring that wind power is “bullshit” and “a hoax” last year.
Trump posted a photo claiming it shows a bald eagle in the United States killed by a windmill.

The president has been fuming about wind energy since an offshore wind farm was proposed near property he purchased to build a golf resort in Scotland nearly 20 years ago.
He complained that the “really ugly wind farm” would ruin his course and sued to block the construction only to lose.
Trump’s latest posts comes just days after a Virginia offshore wind developer filed a lawsuit over a “arbitrary and capricious” government order to block the construction of their project and four others.
