Transport authorities in Sambalpur impounded a private bus and issued a hefty Rs 2.19 lakh challan for multiple violations, including operating without valid insurance, fitness, and a driving licence. The bus, carrying schoolchildren, was also found to have evaded taxes for a significant period, raising serious safety concerns.
