Ariana Grande Rehearses Her 'Wicked: For Good' Song 'Thank Goodness' in New Throwback Video: Watch!

Ariana Grande is throwing it back to the early days of rehearsing for Wicked: For Good.

On Wednesday (January 7), the 32-year-old Glinda actress and pop star took to social media to share a video of herself in music rehearsals all the way back in 2022.

In the clip, she worked her way through her song “Thank Goodness,” which she performs alongside Jonathan Bailey and Michelle Yeoh in the movie.

The “God is a woman” hitmaker has spoken candidly about having the opportunity to play Glinda in the big-screen interpretation of the classic Broadway show.

In a letter to the American Critics Choice Association (CCA) ahead of the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards ceremony, she referred to it as “the privilege of my life and the most demanding role of my career.

Describing her character, she said that Glinda is supposed “to invite the audience to look outside themselves and consider that it’s never too late to become part of the solution or an ally, especially in a time of deep division.”

“I don’t know if I’ll ever again play a character that contains so many multitudes and I’ll cherish this experience and this challenge for the rest of my life. I’d do it all again tomorrow if I could,” she added.
