LPSS approves superintendent's new $300,000 salary

Lafayette Parish Superintendent Francis Touchet has been granted a three-year contract extension and a raise to a minimum of $300,000, with the goal of maintaining an 80% graduation rate and achieving an "A" or "B" district performance score.
