The NFL Playoffs Begin Saturday. Here's The Schedule

0

Fourteen teams remain standing as the 2025-26 NFL playoffs get underway on Saturday. Over the next three days, six Wild Card games will take place, with the postseason field trimmed down to eight by Monday night.

The first two playoff games will kick off on Saturday. Both are in the NFC, and they feature very different circumstances.

Here's the schedule:

Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers (4:30 p.m. ET, FOX)

This year's postseason opener includes the Rams, who finished second in the ultra-competitive NFC West and are regarded as a possible Super Bowl contender, against the upstart Panthers, who posted a losing record (8-9) but won the NFC South by virtue of a three-way tiebreaker over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons.

Carolina is back in the playoffs for the first time in eight years, and it would be a sizable upset if they were to advance past today. The Rams, led by MVP candidate Matthew Stafford and star wide receiver Puka Nacua, have a 73.5% chance of winning, per ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI).

Joe Davis and Greg Olsen will have the call of this game for FOX.

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears (8 p.m. ET, Amazon Prime Video)

Our nightcap features one of the NFL's longest-running and most bitter rivalries. The Bears were one of the league's biggest surprises in 2025, going 11-6 in their first season under head coach Ben Johnson to win the NFC North for the first time since 2018.

Green Bay, meanwhile, finished 9-7-1 to earn the NFC's final Wild Card spot. These two teams split their regular season series, with the Packers winning at Lambeau Field and the Bears holding serve at home at Soldier Field, which is where tonight's game will be played.

Despite being the lower seed, the Packers are slight favorites in Vegas and according to ESPN FPI. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will broadcast the action for Prime Video tonight.

What does the rest of the weekend look like?

Sunday will bring a playoff triple-header, starting with Bills-Jaguars at 1 p.m. ET on CBS. The Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers will meet at 4:30 p.m. ET on FOX, followed by the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.

Wild Card Weekend will conclude Monday night on ESPN, with the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Houston Texans.
