The Centre has revived three stalled dam projects on the Yamuna and its tributaries. These projects, Lakhwar, Renukaji, and Kishau, aim to significantly boost Delhi's water supply. Officials state the dams could meet the capital's drinking water needs for the next 25 years. Water supply is expected to commence within five to seven years.
