Hundreds in Gumla's Palkot observed a bandh Sunday, demanding the release of Raja Saheb Devvrat Nath Shahdeo, arrested in connection with the murder of tribal priest Soma Munda. Residents claim Shahdeo is wrongly implicated, protesting his arrest over a land dispute that allegedly led to Munda's killing.
