Immigration to housing: What’s topping the political agenda in Germany this year?

Most of the major parties in Germany's Bundestag met separately in January to agree their top policy goals for 2026. From immigration crackdowns to tax reforms to rent controls, they largely identified wildly different priorities for Germany.
