A devastating fire in Jagatsinghpur's Pipal village tragically claimed the life of 25-year-old Rini Kumari Swain, who was alone and asleep when flames engulfed three thatched homes. Eyewitnesses described the rapid spread of the blaze, leaving villagers helpless. Property valued at approximately Rs 2 lakh was lost. Investigations into the cause, suspected to be a short circuit, are ongoing.
