I think Wagners one on one defending is really good. Doesn’t get skinned, is tight, aggressive and seems to pretty quick off the mark

He’s got caught a couple of times with the ball played inside him and the winger making a run on his outside - I’m pretty confident once he’s used to the speed of the game he will fix that problem

Depends . If there’s space behind he’s going to struggle because he’s - well - slow. I know what you mean about facing up and he has some very good attributes.

The thing we have to remember is that he's not played at this level before, and has been brought in as a bit of an 'emergency'. He's what I'd call 'decent'.

Once they knew Cochrane had broken his ankle it was obvious we need some immediate cover and he was the go-to option. Already identified through their data models and available at a certain fee.

Good job it all didn't happen a month later.

Even if he only helps out until we have better options it was a sensible signing.

I’m happy enough. I think he’ll be a positive.
