'Heated Rivalry' Star Hudson Williams Steals the Show at Milan Fashion Week

Heated Rivalry came out of nowhere and took the world by storm. The Canadian series about a passionate love affair between two closeted gay hockey players successfully crossed the border and captured the hearts of American audiences, who traditionally don't care for hockey or gay people.

The series' runaway success plucked its two main stars, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, out of obscurity and turned them into superstars. Virtually overnight, both Storrie and Williams went from waiting tables to presenting at the Golden Globes.

At Milan Fashion Week, all eyes have been on Williams. After watching him perform in countless soft-core sex scenes in nothing but skin, it turns out people also like seeing him with clothes on.

Hudson Williams Makes His Runway Debut

Working in a restaurant, Williams is used to yelling "Corner!" when he's about to emerge from a blind spot. But when he appeared on the runway at the beginning of DSquared2's menswear show, he didn't have to announce himself. People were so eager to see him strut his skates that the livestream went offline. Instead of a fashion show, viewers got an error attributed to "heavy traffic," reports W Magazine.

The Winter Olympics-themed show, complete with snow and stadium ad banners on the sides, made Williams a natural choice for it. He wore a distressed dark denim jacket with protruding olive green lining, glossy black pants, and New Rock-inspired snow boots.

Then, Williams appeared outside Georgio Armani show, where he turned heads yet again. He wore an oversized grey wool suit with a grey tie and a black zipper sport jacket, which he made look infinitely cooler by not putting his arms through it. To accessorize, he wore chic small-frame sunglasses and puffed on a cigarette—which he was photographed being told to put out.

Whether he's always been a fashionista or not, the fanfare has cemented Williams as an influencer in the world of menswear. An Instagram page called @hudsonwilliamscloset, which breaks down his public looks by item and price, has already amassed more than 5,000 followers. So far, he seems to be a big fan of Armani.
