Kristin Cavallari Shares 'Eye-Opening' Moment About Parenting While Podcasting

Kristin Cavallari is realizing that being a single mom means watching what she says in public forums.

The 39-year-old former reality star said she had a little bit of a “wake-up call” recently when she found out her sons, Camden, 13, and Jaxon, 11, heard from their friends that she was discussing sex with her previous partner on her podcast Let’s Be Honest.

In a previous episode Kristin had been talking about her sex life with her ex-boyfriend Mark Estes.

During the this week’s episode with Rachel Bilson, she shared that learning her sons had found out about that from friends of theirs was a “real eye-opener.”

“I don’t care at the end of the day what Jax and Camden think about me. It’s my kids,” she told Rachel. “But I can’t be saying stuff that’s gonna affect them and their friends.”

Since then, the Uncommon James designer has worked to find ways to “kind of say stuff without just saying it.”

In a November episode of her podcast, Kristin revealed why she would never date an actor.
