Axis Bank announced its December quarter results. The bank's standalone net profit saw a 3% increase, reaching Rs 6,490 crore. Interest income also grew by 4.3% to Rs 32,274 crore. The lender's interest payments on deposits were up nearly 4% in the same period. These figures reflect the bank's performance in the recent financial quarter.
