Drake Maye Injury: Patriots’ First Super Bowl Injury Report Features QB
The New England Patriots finally provided an update on starting quarterback Drake Maye.
Maye, who reportedly suffered a shoulder injury during his club’s victory over the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship, was listed as a limited participant on the club’s first injury report prior to Super Bowl LX.
Maye was expected to be listed as such, though real answers will come whenever the team actually practices on Thursday and Friday before departing for Santa Clara, Calif. on Sunday.
Harold Landry III (knee), Thayer Munford Jr. (knee/illness), Morgan Moses (rest), Hunter Henry (rest) and Robert Spillane (ankle) were listed as non-participants. Landry did not play in the AFC Championship. Spillane left the game early after aggravating an injury that has bothered him throughout the season.
