Odisha chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched the Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana at the Tara Tarini temple, where 201 couples participated in a mass marriage ceremony. The state-sponsored scheme aims to support economically weaker families by providing financial assistance for weddings, promoting women's dignity, and eradicating social evils like dowry and child marriage.
