QUEEN’S PARK set the pulses racing of every Spiders supporter on a Saturday at 3pm.
But as the players put their heart and soul into their William Hill Championship campaign, how many in the stands are up to speed on heart health, or know their blood pressure?
This February we want to raise awareness of the importance of understanding your bloody pressure and what if can mean for you and your health. We’re working with our valued Queen’s Park partners, and back of the to help you understand the numbers and give some advice.
Spiders supporters can visit any – locally in Govan, Burnside and Rutherglen – for a free blood pressure check by trained medical staff.

Blood pressure checks and heart health advice will be on offer in the east stand concourse, from M&D Green Pharmacy professionals pre-match and at half-time, subject to availability.
However you could skip the queue and pre-register with a starting XI slots available for supporters who pre-register via . Spaces are available to both Queen’s Park and Morton supporters whose nearest M&D Green Pharmacy could be in Fore Street, or John Wood Street, Port Glasgow.
To help mark the occasion, Spiders stars Jamie Bradley and Josiah Sowa checked their own blood pressure – and learned more about the healthy ranges when M&D Green Pharmacy visited The city Stadium earlier this month.
Jamie said: “This is a great opportunity for supporters to learn more about their health.”
Martin Green from M&D Green Pharmacy said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Queen’s Park FC to bring vital heart health checks directly to supporters.
Head of commercial at the club Kieran Koszary added: “This is another fantastic reason we are delighted to have M&D Green Pharmacy as partners at Queen’s Park Football Club.
“Maintaining a healthy heart is so important and to be able to deliver a service like this to supporters direct at the match is something we are proud to do. We are very appreciative of M&D Green for their support both as a club and of this initiative and hope as many fans of Morton, and Queen’s Park, take part as possible.
“Where possible please pre-register and the first 11 slots – a full starting team – will be checked.”
